These little tasty bite-sized morsels may be small, but they pack a world of flavour! On this cooking journey, you'll meet at the Asian grocer in Warrawong, explore the aisles and delicacies of the supermarket and grab ingredients to make Pork and Veggie Dumplings and Hot Asian Soup.
You'll be making the dumplings from 'scratch' but not making the dumpling wrappers - these are brought from the oriental supermarket you'll visit in the first part of the workshop. You'll learn how to make the filling, how much to pop into your parcels and how to perfectly fold the tasty morsels (and gobble them up at lunch time!) Then back to the Studio kitchen to whip up a tasty lunch to enjoy and share amongst new friends.
Nina Kourea is our resident foodie! She has a great passion for photography and documentary. She has recorded the lives of circus performers, roller derby queens and entertainers. Her main passion is to celebrate the lives of women from all different backgrounds.She also loves to travel and meeting like minded people to share her creative spirit with. She is a currently working as a community arts worker in the Wollongong region.
