Learn how to sew your own cloth menstrual pads/liners while also raising funds for Port Kembla Days for Girls sewing group. Feel free to donate what you make at this session or learn how you can become involved more regularly. The teaching, material and venue fees all go towards the cost of materials for sanitary kits for women in need. 

The session includes a yummy home-cooked meal for all participants, and the option to donate extra funds when you book. Practical, sustainable and sharing the love!

Bring your own sewing machine or overlocker or let us know and we’ll try to source one for you.

Days for Girls

The Port Kembla branch of Days for Girls is an all-inclusive sewing group that's been meeting monthly for almost two years, making reusable pads for women in need. They had a member travel to Africa and distribute kits in 2018 with plans to do this again in the near future. Get involved at:
