Let the kids come and play with The Rumpus crew for the day!

A day of amazing workshops to keep your kids entertained for the whole day, and give them the skills and activities to entertain themselves for the remainder of the holidays!!


Sharnie Shield will present Art around the World - a creative painting and sculpture education of Mexico, Japan + China.
Honora will have your kids shaking their sillies out with fun, circus play and interaction. For kids of all abilities, in this fun playful 2 hour session the kidlets will dance, laugh and use music and movement as a form of art and expression!
Renay's session of Bush critters & crowns will give the kids imaginative play using sourced flowers and foraged materials to help them make little masterpieces of their very own to take home.

A full fun day, suitable for Ages 8+
BYO lunch + Drink bottles.

Sharnie Shield

Taking traditional art into the hands of the everyday person, is one of Sharnie's many talents. Engaging groups to create sculptural and visual masterpieces make the world go around! Taking part in Jamboree and The worldwide event of "The Big Draw" in 2018 in co-ordination with Rumpus and Wollongong City Council. Her art practice and working with kids and the young at heart gives Sharnie the enthusiasm and passion for her creative endeavours.

Honora Jenkins
Sure knows how to provide a positive creative learning journey. She was inspired to make social improvement through alternative education. And boy is she great at it! Working for many organisations and community development programs. Honora has worked as Production Coordinator at KidsFest Shellharbour, Produced the Dangerous D'Lights and was the Theatre Education Coordinator at Merrigong Theatre Co. Add to that impressive list her roles as Casual Youth and Community Development Worker with Wollongong City Council and Playgroup Facilitator with Barnardos.

Renay Horton

Floristy and community skills extroidinaore! Renay has been a florist for over 30 years, running her own business- All Occasions Flowers in Port Kembla for 10 of those. Her community commitment to enhancing those around her brightens anyones day. She has run numerous workshops through Red Point Gallery, and is passionate about creating a safe, fun and educational space for all her students of all abilities and needs.
