Silky Shibori

11am - 3:30pm
4.5hrs (incl. lunch break)
Five Island Studios, Port Kembla

A magical process that produces exquisite soft edged patterns with a trademark indigo colour, Shibori patterns always look stunning. In this workshop you'll experiment with various techniques of the wonderful Japanese art of resist-dyeing. Making sample squares using wrapping, binding, stitching and clamping over four fun, interactive hours, you'll then pick your favourite and dye your own beautiful, ready-to-wear silk scarf!

This workshop covers some processes not explored in Michele’s Shibori session earlier this year.

Bring a packed lunch!

Please note that there are stairs at this venue.
