You'll learn with:
- A video of Lisi explaining all the steps and tricks to make sourdough (accessible from Friday 3rd April at 4pm to Sunday 5 April at 12pm, link to video with password provided)
- Live-streamed Q&A with Lisi where you can brag of your successes or beg for her explanations! (Sunday 5 April 11am-12pm, via Zoom)
With the delightful Lisi, you'll go through the old fashioned way of making sourdough and the no-knead sourdough making process from top to tail in this comprehensive introductory workshop.
Starting with the basic vocab, (what's a starter, levain, etc?), you'll then learn how to mix, knead and bake a loaf, with the option to space the separate tasks over a whole weekend.
On Sunday, you'll then be able to chat with your classmates and ask Lisi questions in our online Q&A.

For as long as she can remember Lisi has been baking and crafting with her grandmothers and mother, especially in the time leading up to Christmas. In Germany, when the days get shorter and the weather colder the best thing to do is to fill the house with the delightful scents of Christmas, listen to music, light candles and get creative. Although Australia’s climate is very different, Lisi still enjoys the time leading up to Christmas - and bringing some of Germany’s rich Christmas traditions to her adopted home country.
